My Post date for this Review: Currently, "SONG" has less than 4,000 IMDb votes and only 25 posted Reviews! However, that doesn't mean you shouldn't see it...quite the opposite in fact. It stands unique and wonderful, reflecting the tone and sound of the era in which he lived. Just for the record, these are my own thoughts written in this review, having read no reviews prior to seeing 'The Choir' and reading very few afterwards. After swooning over François Girard's The Red Violin I was looking forward to a beautiful story set to beautiful music. From a music teaching point of view it was cringeworthy. External Reviews In 1983, at age 22 and upon leaving college, he was asked to be the music director of a tour of Europe for the America's Boychoir, a select group of boy singers selected from 50 states. Lucas as Stet's father is guilt ridden and uses payoffs to aid it.
