Second consecutive Pro Mens National Championship Title for Morewood

Following up a recent spurt of wins, Geritt Beytagh placed in both the Downhill and Dual Slalom in this past weekends US National Championships held in Vermont. Beytagh who was not selected by the USA Cycling to attend the World Championships in Val-di-Sole a few weeks back proved his worth at the stacked event winning both the qualifying and final run of the pro men's downhill event, beating out all of the top hopefuls. This is the second consecutive Pro Mens National Championship Title for Morewood and the Izimu after winning the title for the first time in 2007 with Cole Bangert.

In the Dual Slalom event Geritt passed through some tough rounds, including a heat against 2007 Dual Slalom National Champion, Chris Herndon. It was not until the final against Eric Carter that he saw defeat, resulting in a second place finish overall, and a silver medal.
