HistoryWe’re always making it, so here’s what’s happened since the very beginning PhilosophyLess is more. There’s an old African fable that describes our approach to bike-building perfectly… A little boy sat on a stump, contemplating a chunk of wood in his hand. "What are you going to do with that?" his father asked. "I’m going to carve an elephant," the boy said, confidently. "Do you know how to go about carving an elephant?" "Easy," the boy replied. "All I have to do is cut away everything that does not look like an elephant."
If a single-pivot mechanism works better than a linkage system, we use it. If less parts = less maintenance = more time to ride,
we build the bike with less parts. Listen UpThe Morewood team rider is more than just a set of good lungs with a great pair of legs, you know. Rider feedback is critical and after each race our test pilots make snag lists. Snags translate to refined design. Refined design means faster, lighter and simpler frames for next season. The same goes for every Morewood we make. |
